Hiring a SUP is a great way to have fun and to get a feel of what board might suit you best should you wish to buy your own board in the future.

All boards come complete with paddles ,leashes and buoyancy aids.

Red Paddle co inflatable boards
Most of out hire boards are in fact inflatable boards from Red Paddle Co.

These are high quality boards that can be used in just about all waters from sheltered Lochs and rivers to the open sea with small waves. They come self contained in their own bag and include a pump. There is no need for a roof rack.  Once inflated the boards offer a very stable platform from which to paddle.

Sealion Wings 9ft
Suitable for riding waves by people with previous SUP or surfing experience. This is a rigid hard boardand can be supplied complete with a AFS carbon surf foil. Please note the foil will only be hired out to experienced users and totally at their own risk.

Wetsuit
Comfortable, warm wetsuits. Top quality suits from Neil Pryde, ladies and mens available.

Other boards are available on request

Boards can be sent to your home or workplace then collected again when you are back

Hire term conditions

* Taster sessions involve a brief safety talk. You will then be shown how to use the boards on the water. Each session will be tailored to the individual or group. We do not offer formal training but we will supervise you until we are happy with you ability to paddle and you are confident on the water.

What to bring – Towel, swimwear for under the wetsuit and some suitable footwear. You will get wet up to you knees.

Taster sessions will normally take place at Shandon but may be held elsewhere if conditions dictate.
